Dr. Alexis L. Young.

Dr. Young attended Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut for her high education. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Columbia University in New York City. She continued her postgraduate studies at the University, where she earned her medical degree and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In her senior year of medical school, she received the F. Lowenfish Prize in Dermatology for her research in the genetics of melanoma and various other skin disorders.

Dr. Young completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center. During this time, she also lectured extensively and has had her work published in peer-reviewed medical literature. Dr. Young is currently a clinical instructor in Dermatology at Columbia where she actively teaches the dermatology residents.

Dr. Young is a member of the American Association of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
